though my netmouse.com email is messed up, netmouse@cyberspace.org should work again.

Good news: ConFusion is only 3 room nights short of our 390 room night minimum so as to not owe money for function rooms to the hotel. If anyone has not yet reserved their room, please do so,1-800-777-4096

pass it on.

And that's without the 12 or so reservations I have to talk to David Doyle about for party suites, so looks like we're actually in excellent shape!

Oh, and I should also say - "Phew."

As the person who was responsible for negotiating many of those numbers, I've had a little undercurrent of anxiety/concern about us meeting all of our obligations to the hotel. I'm glad that we seem to have that well at hand. And if the hotel block is full, that should mean we can expect good attendance at the con as well!

Now if even half of them will just bring costumes and half of them enter the masquerade...

If that came true, we'd be there all night!

I hope the masquerade goes well. Perhaps I should try to throw together a costume that features my new, ummm, assets.

If only Michael were around - I bet you he could put together a great latex piece of an alien bursting from my belly!

Well, you could always sign up for Junk Pile Wars and really throw together a costume...
