Some days... But... Wow!|
(now I'm catching up on posts)
When I was a kid, my mom had a rule that she wouldn't move the car until we'd verbally confirmed that we were buckled. It wasn't enough that she could hear the click; we had to say it TO her. Sometimes that was annoying (for us kids) but I can see that it was a good ritual for BOTH parents and kids to have... specifically, at some point in high school, I was riding in a van with some friends-of-friends, and one of them asked me if I was wearing a "seatbelt-belt" and I said "no, that's my ACTUAL seatbelt," much to his surprise. I was surprised he'd even asked. I can't imagine getting into a car without one.
