Blocks!

Gah.. I just lost an entire post due to a new Flickr sharing interface that doesn't actually work. Hate that.

Anyhoo, figured it's been a long time since I posted pics of the kiddo so I just put up a bunch.

Life's been pretty good. Rosie's in a crib now (the cosleeper was still big enough but didn't allow for her standing). We got dark ("blackout") curtains for her room yesterday to help her get to sleep despite extended daylight, and it seemed to help. Once she was in bed sleeping we ran off to see Thor! (thanks to Laura for babysitting!)

I'm in a push right now to get Renovation art program planned and promoted. We have a lot of great art directors coming, including Jon Schindehette from Wizards of the Coast. It's very exciting. They'll be doing art portfolio reviews and people need to sign up in advance so I'm hoping to get the word out soon. There's lots exciting going on there, so hopefully I'll have the art program webpage up soon so I can point you to it.

Mid-May and it's muggy as heck and in the 80's, so today I unpacked the summer baby clothes. She has 5 times as many pairs of shorts as me! That'll probably come in handy when we move to Albuquerque in August though, heh.

We haven't started planning for that move yet but we're thinking about it. We've been warned that SW houses don't have attics or basements, so we need to downsize again. If anyone needs an extra winter coat or jacket let me know (seriously).

In the meantime, Brian's going to a conference May 21-24, so I'll be looking for helping hands then. Rosie weathered his last trip pretty well, but was clearly missing him near the end. I was, too. My sister's coming to visit right after that for a week, so we're looking forward to that, plus aiming to get in visits with local friends and family before we move, so...

Lots to do!
