Would you like to help us move across town?
I would but I can't due to known physical/medical condition. But I'll be cheering for ya!
Unless my powers of telekinesis finally kick in, geography prevents me from doing this. So sad.
When could you be available to help us?
Believe it or not, I'm free on weekdays
I am free some midweek evenings, which I will explain in comments
My schedule is unpredictable, but let me know
What kind of food do you prefer in appreciation?
Anything not pizza
I hope the move goes well for you.
June 26 to July 7 are pretty open; July 8 through 11 will be nuts (K is doing the Denmark-to-Australia transfer then). Let me know if you want help with packing, and we have some boxes available. Also I work at a bookstore so lots of boxes are available from them.
You're very brave.
Some help with packing and a few book boxes would be great! Do you have time this Friday? I think we will definitely be doing something Monday 7/5 but I'm not sure what. I want to avoid the heat of the day, so it'll probably be in the morning or evening. Do you have a preference?
Crap. We're out of town the 2nd through the 11th on vacation. However - we are available at times during the weeks after and can help with hanging thing, unpacking, readying for baby, etc.
We owe ya, so let us know how we can help.
That's cool. I might ask you to help me figure out curtains and decos for the baby's room. Plus we're still working on registering and loosely planning to have a baby shower. We need to set a date for that at some point...
I'm thinking either late July or early August, After Brian has his Aug 4 PhD committee meeting.

Sorry, I swore off helping friends move after moving someone's (I kid you not) anvil collection from a third-floor apartment.
How about hiring actual, you know, movers? It's faster and easier on your friendships, and they even bring their own truck. They're not particularly expensive. If you don't want to miss out on the camaraderie of a good moving party, order a pizza and invite a bunch of friends over for a watch-the-movers party.
I'm gone over July 4 weekend but may be back by Monday the 5th. I'd be happy to help & I bet J. would too, depending on the timing.
Cool. We may do something the morning or evening of the 5th. I want to avoid the heat of the day. The bigger move will probably be the following weekend.
have a good 4th of July!
