Snorting salt water is not for the faint of heart.|
(that is all)
It gets easier with time. In fact, you reminded me that now that Winter is almost here, I should start using my Neti pot again.

But very effective. You have my empathy and well as sympathy.

I believe that you're supposed to add a small amount of baking soda to the salt water, to buffer it.

Yep. I got a recipe from my doctor - 1 cup water, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp baking soda. It made me nervous when I tried it, but it really didn't feel like anything and was not painful at all.

word! works good though, don't it?
(btw, just remembered the message I got from you last night -- not this time for me, but maybe in the future. i'm not making any commitments for february right now -- it's a big mystery. haven't checked with E yet, but she has not been much for concerts lately. will check though.
otoh: would love to see you soon!

I think if you snort yer doin' it wrong. :)
I actually bought the buffered powder stuff to mix up...I was having a hard time with the homemade solution. The storebought, though much more expensive, likes my sinuses much better.
And with that, seems there's no time like the present...*sigh*
