Seeking Montreal Restaurant recommendations
I will be Neil Gaiman's Assistant at the World Science Fiction convention in Montreal next week. Neil needs gluten-free food options and favors Sushi but also likes to eat a variety of good foods.

If you have any restaurant recommendations and especially for sushi restaurants, or know a foodie in the area, please let me know.

thanks!

I had a good all-you-can-eat sushi dinner at Le Vent d'Osaka a couple years ago during Farthing Party; I'd suggest going with a smaller group than the 20-ish we had, though, as things got a little bogged down.

I was out in Montreal several years ago and we went to a sushi place called Miso (I think) that was very good.

I did a little bit of web research on gluten-free restos and posted in response to a request. It's here: http://community.livejournal.com/antici_food/4140.html

On the general restaurant front, I posted about some of my favorite places and heartily approve of Jo's opinion and her work. Welcome and good luck to you and Neil. Feel free to ask me stuff. See you at-con.

You might ask Farah Mendlesohn, Anticipation's Programming Director, since she also requires gluten-free food.
