A number of people have friended me lately who have usernames I don't immediately recognize. If I haven't friended you back, here is an invitation to introduce yourself and let me know if we've met ( in person or online) or if not how you came to my blog and what interests we might have in common.
I think I saw some of your replies on sarahmichigan
's LJ. Aside from being (relatively) local, I found your posts very interesting. Your political posts were also helpful leading up to the election.
I don't post as frequently as I'd like, but you'll be able to check out what's there, should you be so inclined.
Ha! You don't know me from Adam... or Eve, either for that matter. We've never met 'cause I don't get out much. (I live in the middle of nowhere and LIKE it here.)
I'm an SF writer, among other things.
I saw a few of your responses and you seemed interesting - so I "friended" you so you'd appear (It's MAGIC!) on my "friend's page" when you post something.
Reciprocal "friending" is not required... unless you want to see the stuff *I* post, which can be interesting if you're into motorcycles or finance and economics... and I recently posted about the demise of my long-lived guppie.
I'm also a former accountant, corp controller, etc.
And NO! I do NOT think bailouts are good for the nation OR the economy, and neither does Anna Jacobson Schwartz!!! (In a recent WSJ piece, she said if Bernanke were a General, he'd be fighting the last war.) We also agree that Ben Bernanke has NO idea of what he's doing. I call him "Bungling Ben" and predict that he won't get the customary second term at the helm of the Fed because between now and 2010 the economy will continue to tank despite the "bail-outs"!
Remember that time three years ago when you were walking down a dark snow covered street and you thought you saw someone out of the corner of your eye?
Remember two weeks ago when a dark sedan was strattling the center line, made you nervous?
Remember the time you got into the elevator at the scifi convention with that dastingly handsome guy?
No, that wasn't me, just checking your memory. ;)
Dastingly is like dastardly and dashing. With an extra dash.

You have been to parties at my house! Well, logangray
's house that i live in.
Well, know might be an overstatement, but I have been in your living room :) It's hilary, from the mystery of the abbey double play.
