How do you get a perfect hard boiled egg? The bachelor in me needs to know. :)
My small joy was making it all the way to California without mechanical trouble of any kind.
in this case I put the eggs in cold water in a pan with about an inch of water above them. Then I brought them to a boil, uncovered, and turned them down to a low boil for fifteen minutes, then rinsed them immediately in cold water then left them in cold water (accidentally for about 2 hours).
