Is it a new Clive Barker story? I love his writing (and his paintings), though I've been less than enthusiastic about his latest attempt at entering the gaming world (Jericho's reviews have been dismal at best).

No, it's not new - that's his 1984 "In the Cities, the Hills," which originally appear in Books of Blood, Volume I.

It's always interesting to see what stories are published in Anthologies. My favorite Barker is definitely Imajica (which you're free to borrow anytime if you have not read it) though The Great and Secret Show and The Thief of Always come in a close second and third. :)
