Well, I just applied for a Product Designer position with Autodesk in Novi (yes, they're the AutoCAD people). That would be cool. I put in a lot of extra time looking up industry advice on how to write a cover letter. Hopefully I didn't overdo it.

I have had a hard time motivating myself today. Actually I started out pretty well, being the first on the block out to shovel our driveway and sidewalk, but then I was tired out. I spent the rest of the morning searching for jobs, mostly, then got a load of laundry in and took a break reading Dark Knight Returns comics (DK2 issues 2 and 3). DK2 issue 3 is absolutely chock full of superheros; pretty cool.

I eventually put on some music and did the dishes and came back to the job hunt work, but I have hardly touched the program work I need to do for ConFusion. I did get some more basement ceiling panels vacuumed though - the pile that you had to climb over to get to the back room and extra fridge is cleaned up and ready to carry upstairs and out to the garage (we're giving it to our next-door neighbor). And I gave a snack to the Oscars. It's not like I blew off the whole day. But I'm having a hard time shaking this feeling of enui.
