I promised pictures from the painting, so here you are. Purple and red in the kitchen, white and brown in the basement. Later once the windows are replaced I think I'll add some other color in the kitchen. some sort of blue, maybe, from my sister's painting. See the whole set Here
That looks very cheerful-- I like it!

Great colors! I am highly envious of your kitchen. It looks like a great space!
Thanks! The kitchen had a lot to do with why we chose the house. It is a nice space, and easy to both cook and entertain in.

Very cool! We've got a similar purple to that, but it's nowhere most people will ever see it (timprov
's room). The accent red really makes it pop.
("Pop" is my mother's favorite verb when it comes to decorating, and I'm afraid it's rubbed off on me.)
cool. we had the purple left over from brendand
's bedroom. Bill is generally "querulous" about purple, he said on the phone last night (his term, not mine), but he's off hiking the appalachian trail until the end of November, so he doesn't get to vote for change until after he gets home.

One of these months, I swear I'm going to pull the, "You weren't here, so we painted" thing.
hmm... I want to see your car, you want to see my kitchen. I wonder what can be done about this. *raises eyebrow*
I think we can come up with something, but the big question remains: Is it really worth the cost?
I mean, transporting an entire kitchen can not be cheap!
Very nice! I like the red border.
It goes without saying that I like the purple - I always like purple, wherever it may be. :)
