Brian and Anne

Want to be part of the Food Brigade?

Brian and I like to cook for ourselves and eat fresh foods. However, friends who have experience with new babies have assured us that one of the most useful and helpful things we can do in the first few weeks that the baby is around is have friends bring over cooked meals and food so we don't have to cook and handle the associated dishes and pots and pans and shopping and such.

Therefore, I hereby invite you to let us know if you would be interested in doing that for us. My friend Franny has offered to coordinate when people will bring us what, so if you are interested and able to help in this way sometime between now and October (we don't know exactly when the baby will arrive, but she's due August 31), drop me a comment or a note, with your email address and phone number if I don't have them, and I will pass those on to Franny. I'll screen comments on LJ so you can put your contact info here.

Thank you!
Brian and Anne

Nom nom

I believe a well-seasoned, nicely cooked pork roast is one of the tastiest foods in the world. Turns out it's even better with gravy made from the drippings!

My husband is a wonderful cook, and I, I am a very happy woman. :)
