relaxed and happy

Had one of my favorite meals for brunch

A melange of zuchini, summer squash, ham, spinach, and tomatoes stir-fried in olive oil with a fried egg on top and a side of toast. Often in the past I've also done that with just the veggies and no ham, and kale makes a nice green instead of spinach as well. Just a touch of garlic salt and pepper to season it.

I almost took a picture, it was so lovely. I wish I had. I am so glad I know how to cook. Sometimes the basic pleasures are some of the best.
