Beef stroganoff for dinner last night. Dad joined us for dinner and first went up on the roof with me to help put one of our gutter gaurds back and trim the branch that knocked it down (he did all the work, Bill and I just helped with the ladders). When he arrived, bringing the ladders with him, he said, "I hear you need a handyman?" After dinner dad and Bill went after the broken screw that was preventing us from taking the last bookshelf apart for sanding and finishing. I think they ended up cutting it with the hacksaw.
I was busy in the kitchen making banana bread and raisin-granola cookies. I really shouldn't have started both those projects, 'cause it kept us up way too late and we were very tired, but now we have cookies and banana bread, which is nice.
I spent a bunch of time yesterday and today working on a website of pictures of Joe and Aimee's Wedding. It's still not done, but it should go pretty quickly from now on. Microsoft Picture It! is just a really slow program, I have to say. Openning and closing files takes way too long. Just pulling up the function menus is slow. That, and I'm going all out and making thumbnails, which doubles the picture saving time. Anyway, I'm going to go have lunch and work on the shelves and other prep work and kitchen cleaning- Kevin Standlee and Tammy Coxen are coming over for dinner tonight. So that site might not get finished until tomorrow, I dunno. We'll just have to see!
