Anne, we never did resolve who would bring the futon mattress. Please call Gail to decide this, and if neither of you can bring one please let me know. I'm willing to help load it in somone's car.

Also, are you bringing your DVD player? There might not be one hooked up Saturday morning.

Brendan, the part you are required to take ;-) is near the end of the episode during Sweet's (the demon) dance, where he opens a door and a smoldering dead guy falls out. You will be sought out at the con and dragged, kicking and screaming, if necessary, onto the stage.

Brendan, there's also a 30-second tap dance number about 12 minutes into the episode. That guy goes up in flames. You could just make like you are dancing, if you wanted that part and don't happen to know how to tap dance. It's a fast tap with little movement other than the feet, so it'd be easy to fake. Walking in place would probably do the trick.

I'll have my DVD player. I bet Maggie will have her laptop too.

on the futon, I think it's mostly a loading coordination issue.

that and I don't have a vehicle one can fit into, so I can't bring one alone.

I'm not sure I have Gail's phone number... can you email it to me?

I would suggest we plan to get together at 11 pm at my house to load in if we're going to use our futon. with my shoulder injury, I'm not much use for carying, but Bill might be able to help.

I'm busy today with work meetings and then I have to go pick up cory doctorow at the airport and I'll be off email after 3. if you can coordinate this, I'd appreciate it. I'll be in Novi until about 10 pm so the earliest I can get back is 10:30
